Decide what you accept to lose at your stop, and get the position size that keeps the loss there.
Your plan on the real price
How the size is worked out
Units = risk amount ÷ (distance from entry to stop + entry × cost allowance). The result is rounded down to six decimals, and a venue's size rules can trim it further.
Margin is the position size divided by leverage. Liquidation here is where that margin runs out, before the venue's maintenance margin and anything else you hold. Funding is not modelled.
The risk amount is what the plan loses if the stop fills at its price. Fills, gaps and funding move the real result.
A move this size counts, for every hour in the last 30 days, whether a close within the next 24 hours went as far against you as your stop. Moves inside an hour are not seen.
